Solved a problem and wrote great code? Join the Tekla Developer Awards competition to get your app in front of Tekla users globally!
Who can take part?
- Tekla Developer Awards 2019 is open to all Tekla developers, whether customers or partners, across the globe (except embargoed countries).
- Also open to Tekla Campus students, universities and educational institutes!
Your application can be commercial, free, internal, build for a student project - anything is acceptable as long it utilizes Tekla APIs. Trimble's people are excluded from the competition.
You can use any Tekla software API
Your application can be implemented with Tekla Open API, Tekla PowerFab Open API, or Trimble Connect API/SDK. Or, your application could even utilize Tedds API, multiple Tekla APIs, or mix with other APIs!

How to enter
You can submit your entry by filling in a form. The submission period for Tekla Developer Awards 2019 competition has ended.
Here are the basic steps you will need to follow:

Describe a real business problem and how your application solves it.

Provide a short video describing your app.

Upload your free app (or a demo/trial of commercial app) to Tekla Warehouse, or provide just the information package.
If you want to distribute and promote your app, upload it to Tekla Warehouse. If you do not have permission to distribute it, or your app is only for your company’s internal use, provide only the required information package.
How is the winner of Tekla Developer Awards decided?
The winner is decided by public voting here: Tekla Developer Awards 2019 entries
The community starts voting on November 1st. Voting and prize draw closes on November 30th. The voters' prize is a Suunto 5 sports watch.
Recommended criteria for voters

Innovativeness (is the app creative and unique)

Completeness of the app (production readiness and for example user interface design)

Usefulness (does the app solve a real problem that Tekla users have)

Tekla APIs usage (effective usage of Tekla APIs)

Openness (not required, but sharing the code provides the opportunity to everyone to view what you have done)
Note: Judging must be possible based on the information package provided, especially if you cannot distribute your app via Tekla Warehouse.
Prizes
At the Tekla Developer Awards one winner or winning team will be selected. The winner will receive Oculus Quest!
