Tekla Structural Designer Open API 2024

In Tekla Structural Designer 2024, the following capabilities have been added:

• A dedicated combination class for staged construction has been added.
• A dedicated set of staged construction analysis types has been added.
• The ability to access analysis types used in element design has been added 
• A new masonry material type has been added.

The updated package can now be downloaded from nuget.org.

Tekla Structural Designer Open API 2024 SP1

In Tekla Structural Designer 2024 SP1, the following capabilities have been added:

• A new public example called "ExtractingModelData" has been created. The example demonstrates:
  • Output of member data such as Name, Section, Material, Start and End co-ordinates, Utilization Ratio and Status
  • Output of wall data such as: Name, Thickness, Material, Utilization Ratio and Status
  • Output of slab data such as Name, Slab Type, Material and Depth
  • Output of connection data including Name, Connection Type, Co-ordinates and Connected Members

• Allow specifying type of member to create through Remoting API

  • Simplifies the code needed for creation of members
