Description

This plugins can be placed by selecting existing walls or a polygon shape. Based on the contour it created a solid with on all sides a surface. This surface can be adjusted later.

With this plugins we can quickly estimate how much a building costs to construct and operate room spaces are a key element too. General contractors, Architects and facility managers build there bids and methods around room spaces.

Problem that app solves

Buildings exist not only from structural elements but also from finishing elements and over arching organizational information.
The most prominent organizational structures are buildingstories and roomspaces.

To quickly estimate how much a building costs to construct and operate roomspaces are a key element too. General contractors, Architects and facility managers build there bids and methods around roomspaces.

Uptil today Tekla doesn't have any roomspaces and as consequence limits the usage for general contractors.

With our newly developed roomspaces modeler we open the usage of Tekla to new users by:
- easily entering roomspaces between walls automatically or manually
- adding all information a roomspace needs to carry intuitively
- detailing all finished surfaces
- structuring all the information with different brakedown structures
- handing over and connecting fm-informations for operations

With our Roomspaces modeler we're not just closing a gap but raising the bar how roomspaces can be modeled and used.

Feedback

The plugin is tested by a user in Swiss ans was very happy the way it worked. It is not released yet so no further reviews.

Tekniq Solutions developed this extension for and with BuildingPoint Switzerland. The Extension was developed in an agile manner and with integrated customer feedback and testing to ensure optimal quality and scope in Version 1.
